There once was a time when Gamma Beta Chi, existed only as a vision in his mind's eye. And a divine vision it was he did see, a vision of peace, love and unity.  This vision led him to four other brothers of like mind and they formed a team, and began laying the foundation to build their dream.  For the guidance and understanding for which they looked, they would find in these three great texts from which they partook, the Constitution, the Bible, and the History Book.  And along with hard work perseverance and conviction of mind, it came to pass that in 1900 and 59.  The vision that had spawned the dream became a reality, on the twentieth day of April, in the halls of Indiana University.  Adorned in SILVER, GARNET and BLACK, they were now as strong as the BLACK PANTHER cat, Gamma Beta Chi opened its doors and never looked back. In remembrance of that soul that has transcended from this physical world, we say a prayer and light a candle in honor of one great white pearl.
